The accommodation for this trip has been carefully chosen to provide comfort and value in the best possible locations. You will stay in twin-share or double rooms, all with private facilities. Here are a few of the properties where you'll be staying:

Lochmara Lodge
Accessed only by boat, kayak or foot, this exclusive accommodation is located on the tranquil shores of the Marlborough Sounds with a sandy beach and surrounded by native bush. Discover Lochmara's unique art, nature and wildlife experiences, visit the underwater observatory, kayak, swim or relax in sunny hammocks.

Alpine Lodge St Arnaud
Situated at 640m above sea level in the alpine resort of St Arnaud, this comfortable lodge is nestled amongst the beech forest and towering peaks of the adjacent Nelson Lakes National Park. Comfortable rooms offer mountain views, the kitchen prides itself on producing simple, modern European dishes and there is a cosy restaurant and bar on site.

If you are traveling alone, the tour operator will arrange for you to share accommodation with another traveler of the same gender and if they cannot match you up they will provide a single room at no extra charge. If you prefer not to share, a single supplement is payable to guarantee your own room, however, these are limited to 2 per departure on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note: although every endeavor is made to stay at the accommodation detailed in the itinerary, occasionally, due to seasonal shortages, other accommodations of similar standard may be used.
