Art and Food Cycle Tour
A great 5 day ride for foodies and lovers of wine, craft beer or art. It includes a detour off the Great Taste Trail up into the beautiful Moutere foothills – the Tuscany of NZ. On this ride, you will have time to explore the historic Moutere area, with it's scenic hop gardens and premier vineyards. There are some hills on the route, so it is best for reasonably fit cyclists or for those riding electric bikes. For one day of this itinerary, the cycling is on roads, which are mostly very quiet.

Starting in Nelson, this delightful 5-day cycle tour explores the food, wine, craft beer and historic rural landscapes of the region. You'll also spend part of the tour riding beside the sublime Tasman coast as you dip in and out of the Great Taste Trail on this lovely route.
Ending in Kaiteriteri, the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park, the tour includes a return transfer back to Nelson. However, there is an option available to spend the night in Kaiteriteri and perhaps explore Abel Tasman the following day if you wish. The extra night option includes a night at an Eco Resort in Kaiteriteri – the perfect way to relax at the end of your cycling trip. Contact us if you’d like an additional night in Kaiteriteri or a day in Abel Tasman National Park
