  • How long is the tour? How many days riding?

The tour is 4 days long with 2 days of cycling.

  • Can I rent a bike for the tour?

Hybrid bikes are included in the tour price. They have aluminum frames, Shimano 24-speed derailleurs and hydraulic disc brakes. They are serviced before each tour and rigorously inspected. All bikes come with a bottle holder, back pannier, handlebar pannier, repair kit, lock, and pump.

Electric and childrens bikes are available for an additional fee.

Kid's trailers that can be mounted on adult bikes are also available, please contact us if interested.

The tour operator suggests you bring your own helmet for safety and hygiene reasons. Alternatively, helmets are provided on arrival.

  • What's the tour like?

The tour has 2 full days of cycling, with approximately 30 km (18.6 mi) each day. The region’s wine culture is very much in evidence along the whole route and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop and learn more and even taste the local produce.

Most of the route is on quiet roads (about 95% of the time) and there are some rolling hills to tackle, but nothing that will distract from a leisurely and refined cycle journey through the vineyards of Burgundy.

  • Where does the tour start and end?

The tour starts and ends in Beaune. Fly in/out of Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) or Geneva International Airport (GVA).

By train, Beaune train station is a 15 minute walk from the hotels. A high speed train (TGV) can be taken from Paris Gare de Lyon to Dijon with a transfer to the regional train from Dijon to Beaune.

For other options, visit the SNCF website for train schedules or to book tickets.

  • What is the 'Half Board Supplement'?

Half-board refers to dinners, typically featuring 3-course meals (starter, main course, dessert) at local restaurants. Drinks and extras are not included and should be paid directly at the restaurant. Dinners are usually scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

These meals are reserved at set times to ensure quality service. You will receive vouchers in your welcome pack, which must be presented at each restaurant.

  • What GPS application will be used?

You will be provided with a roadbook containing all the essential addresses, restaurant recommendations, tourist information, detailed maps, and a complete description of the route.

Furthermore, a free application available on your smartphone is provided for you to follow the itinerary without the risk of getting lost (bike smartphone holder provided).

  • Will I receive travel information?

Yes, the trip includes a personalized welcome on the first day of your journey. The Tour Operator will provide you with travel documents and bikes (if renting). There will be 24/7 telephone assistance service to meet all your needs.

  • If I'm traveling by myself, do I have to pay more?

If you are traveling solo or would like your own room then a single supplement is payable.
