My friend and I did the full day wineries tour and it was fantastic, the driver was great and informative and you get the feeling they'll go out of their way to make your experience as enjoyable as possible, the views and track were superb. The bikes were nice and in great condition, the length of ride gave you plenty of time to have a look around Arrowtown, stop for lots of pictures and exploring and of course pop in to plenty of wineries! Can't recommend enough and i'll be back next time i'm in Queenstown

[The tour operator] was wonderful! Hopped on the bus and got a quick and entertaining spiel and then sent out on the bikes. We did the wine tour and the route was beautiful. When we got back, [they] had the wine we purchased at the front desk waiting for us! The workers are all super nice and helpful as well

Really good service. The staff were friendly. The map of vineyards useful, and it included discounts. Picking up the wine purchased made the cycling easier.

Thank you for a great day out guys. We did the full day bike the wineries from Arrowtown to Gibbston valley and we loved it. We were picked up in town and dropped off at Arrowtown where Steve was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. The views were beautiful along the way and the wineries were great. Definitely worth getting the shuttle back as the wine flowed a little too easily so thank you Lisa for getting us home safely. Lovely people, great day, highly recommend.

We did the Full Day Winery Bike Tour and it was a highlight of our trip to Queenstown. The staff was excellent, and to be honest, the bike path was a little more challenging than I thought it would be. Once we got to the wineries, Gibbston Valley Cheesery and Peregrine Winery were definitely favourites. The ride is so beautiful and enjoyable - this is a must do if you're in Queenstown!

Tip: Gibbston Valley Cheesery is the perfect spot to refuel! Thanks to Steve and his very entertaining commentary! Hope to be back soon:)

I took the full day biking from Arrowtown to the Gibbston Valley wineries. In New Zealand they not only drive on the left but bike gears are reversed too. Luckily they gave us a few tips on remembering this. Before taking off, I had a tasty sticky bun and flat white at The Provisions cafe that they recommended. Gentle ups and downs along the Arrow river. I noticed a lot of people passing me on bikes and later found out that they were riding electric bikes. I didn’t feel so slow after that!

Great Day Out

We did the full day self guided bike ride from Arrowtown to the Gibbston valley. A great day out which provides the opportunity to look around the very quaint Arrowtown, then cycle about 15km to the Bungy jumping bridge where you can enjoy coffee, food and watch the Bungy jumpers (or do one yourself). From here you can ride to around six different wineries. We had lunch at Gibbston Valley winery, and visited three other wineries to do some tasting, before Around the Basin picked us up at 4.30pm. A really enjoyable day out, well organised, well equipped and a great way to see a few local sights, taste some wine and get some exercise!
