This new escorted electric assist bike tour is the ultimate Nelson hop harvest trip. The cycling is based on the easy Great Taste Trail (it’s definitely not mountain biking) and the itinerary includes a private visit to a beautiful hop garden in Upper Moutere to soak up the harvest. You will also meet some of the leading Nelson Tasman brewers, experience a brewery tour & tasting at McCashins and visit the Moutere Inn. A tiny hop museum in Mahana is also on the route.
The price includes comfortable lodge accommodation (twin share en suite). The trip finishes in Kaiteriteri, with a night at a beautiful Eco Resort & a day trip in the Abel Tasman National Park the following day.
This tour includes plenty of optional diversions for accompanying friends or partners who may not be fully committed to the craft beer concept. The cycling is easy & vehicle support is provided every day.
