Join this memorable adventure on Hobart's Mt. Wellington/kunanyi!
Jump on the shuttle in South Hobart and the experience will start by taking you to the top of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington (1271m/4169ft). After taking in the awesome views (weather permitting), jump on your hire bike and descend 6 km (3.7mi) on the summit road.
After the descent, you'll arrive at 'The Springs,' where you can take a break and grab a drink or snack at the Lost Freight Cafe. Then, one of the friendly local guides will take you on a magical 11km ride through a beautiful temperate rainforest.
This gentle off-road trail leads you through towering eucalyptus trees, under giant silver ferns, past waterfalls, and along historic aqueducts. You’ll also enjoy crystal-clear streams and might even spot some curious wildlife along the way.
The whole experience takes about 4 hours, ending at the Tour Operator's office in South Hobart. It’s an easy ride, perfect for those comfortable with basic bike skills.
