Cycling from Beechworth to Milawa

(Review obtained from Trip Advisor)

We would recommend this gourmet food and wine cycling tour. The day started with easy pedaling from Beechworth with the first stop the Organic Pennyweight winery. Chris made us feel very welcome and the wines we sampled were very smooth to the palate, especially The Durif. Downhill for the next 15 km, arriving at the Everton Hotel which was closed. Just a short note about the the swooping magpie on the back Everton road. He did not let up!!! We continued on for another 20 km along back roads taking in the view and fresh air. Unfortunately the olive tasting was also closed. We arrived at Milawa for lunch and were served a delicious platter of local cuisine. After visiting the winery next door we continued cycling to Brown Brothers for our pick-up.The driver, Bernard was an extremely conversant, helpful and courteous gentleman.
