Grand Canyon Biking - 4 Days
While nearly all of North America reels under hot summertime temperatures, the North Rim, at 9000-feet, offers delightfully cool, high altitudes escape. A raw-cut jewel in the national park system if not one of the most awe-inspiring features on Earth, the Grand Canyon’s incomparable majesty sunders nearly 280-miles of Northern Arizona highlands. No less than two-billion years of the earth’s history is on display here in the vermillion cliff-faces and golden canyon walls that rise a mile into the sky. From his dory that plied the unbridled Colorado River, early explorer Major John Wesley Powell compared it to “leaves in a great history book.”

We took the 4 day North Rim Grand Canyon mtn bike tour in June and had an amazing time! Our guides were Ryan Pierce ("Pierce") and Troy Paulekos. We could not have been happier with spending 4 days with the two of them. They were super knowledgeable, hard working, and really fun to be around. They made the tour fun but still challenging (as desired) and were able to tailor the rides to the skill level of each of us. They also provided some technical tips and really made everyone feel comfortable. This is a great tour for even the most skilled rider to a beginner! They also cook 3 meals a day from raw ingredients....super fresh and super delicious. Troy is a former exec chef so we were getting some awesome meals! These guys are awesome! I'd highly recommend asking specifically for Pierce and Troy.
[The tour operator] is a great company. They are very well run, do things by the books, and make sure their clients are well taken care of. The manager even let us take showers at the shop after hours on the day we returned because we had to catch a red eye back to the East Coast! They really go above and beyond! We hope to take another tour with them soon...hopefully to Moab! Cant wait!
Guides: top in customer service, excellent food - fresh and from scratch!
Knowledge of terrain: knew where to go for the best views and best single track trails!
North Rim Grand Canyon: beautiful!
It was a great experience! The tour guides, Pierce and Troy were outstanding. The food as a pleasant surprise. There were a variety of different trail types and difficulty. The views awesome. Would consider a different tour in the future.
My wife and I love being outdoors, so Grand Canyon mountain biking was a great way to get away and enjoy a week. The guides were exceptional and the mountain biking was exciting!
Outstanding tour. Great guides who were great cooks. Well organized and executed. Guides Merrick, Ryan (Pierce), and Troy provided outstanding customer service and food preparation/cooking. The quality of food was excellent. The logistics for the entire trip were planned and executed flawlessly.

The was a four-day trip on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We had six guys in our group (all 60+) along with a couple of other groups from Utah and California that we had never met. Overall a good group of people with a variety of mountain biking skill levels. The three guides from [the tour operator] (Merrick, Ryan and Troy) were fantastic. They were highly skilled mountain bikers, great cooks and very focused on taking good care of all of us. The trip was beautiful. We rode on the Arizona Trail and the Rainbow Trail through the Kaibab National Forest on the rim of the Grand Canyon. The trip was fairly strenuous for our group. [The tour operator] gives it a "5" for difficulty and this is an accurate rating. Every day was tough, but amazing. This was my second trip with [the tour operator] (I did the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park two years ago) and I highly recommend them. Great job guys!
This was a great ride & camping trip, fantastic views where we camped, great fresh cooked food & you won't go hungry. The guides can't do enough for you, looking forward to my next trip.

I did the Four day North Rim, Grand Canyon tour. It was great from top to bottom. Both the guides, Tim and Irving, were great! Very knowledgable about the area and trails. Tim blew us away with great meals for our whole stay. Irving was a lot of fun as well! It was a great trip for myself as I wanted to get away from the crazy technology riddled life I lead (little to no cell reception), and get on my bike and just ride. Great trails with a lot of great descents and the usual ascents too. If I was too tired on my bike, I would be able to hop on the van to get back to camp.
I would recommend this trip to any mountain biker for sure, and even someone that doesn't mountain bike that often. Overall great experience, and I'm sure to go back and do another tour!
My second tour with [the tour operator], I've also done their White Rim MTB tour. Both tours were nothing short of fantastic. Amazing scenery, great guides, great bikes, great food. There's nothing quite like having someone else take care of all the sucky parts of bike touring, just letting you…

There's nothing quite like having someone else take care of all the sucky parts of bike touring, just letting you get on with making the most of every minute.

We went on a four day mountain bike tour of the north rim organized by these guys and run by two heavy dooty experienced mountain bikers (Brandon and Zephyr) who drove us up 4 hours to the Grand Canyon past Hurricane for four days camping. Well run tour and they know all the routes up there.... camping by the Grand Canyon is wonderful. Biking pretty hard though if you are not used to high altitude and heat....
