Bryce and Zion Mountain Bike
Soaring red stone spires and ancient citadels of rich Navajo sandstone give way to haunting hoodoos and curving arches of rock, a geologist’s and adventurer’s dream come true. Located where the Southern Wasatch Range meets the Colorado plateau, scientists call this a “super-sequence”: a vast series of massive, high altitude islands that rise above the Four Corners region. Welcome to Utah’s Color Country. Nonetheless scientists aren’t the only ones carried away by this area. Owing to the largest concentration of parklands in North America, plus fast, narrow trails, this is no less than a mountain biker’s paradise, as well.

My wife, I and our two 9 year old twins just returned from a 6 day camping, mountain biking and hiking trip in Bryce Canyon and Zion. We're not avid outdoors people or super athletic, so weren't sure how well the experience would turn out, especially for the kids- but we had a fantastic experience! Merrick and Katie were our guides for the trip and they did a great job of ensuring that each of us had a great experience- at each of our individual paces and endurance levels. We had the chance to experience the great outdoors as a family, learn new experiences, and end the trip wanting to do more! Merrick was a fantastic cook and was great with the kids. Definitely a great experience and we highly recommend it, especially for families looking for an experience like this to expose their kids to new adventures and a new appreciation for the outdoors.

This was my eleventh mtn. bike trip with [the tour operator]. I would like to commend the guides, Tim and Kevin, for a well managed trip experience. On our fifth day we had some adversity due to rain that required flexibility and inventiveness to overcome. Tim was more than up to the task and we almost did not miss a beat. He is a professional.

My wife and I did the 6 day Bryce/Zion Mountain Bike/Hiking tour with [the tour operator], and I would give the trip 6 stars out of 5.
We were a group of 6, with an age span of 45y, and a wide range of biking ability, and our 2 guides, Tim and Kevin, managed to accommodate all of us. They were constantly evaluating what the best options would be for each of us, and we rode PHENOMENAL trails.
Everything in the offering was top-notch, from the bikes, to the spotless, spacious van, to the selection of campgrounds and the meals during the tour. Most of the times, the trail started and ended right at the campground, and we had minimal transfer time. All was done to maximize the biking/hiking time.
Our guides went above and beyond our expectations. As an example, they had a spare bike that one of the guests used after her own bike broke.
The exceptional scenery, trail length, knowledge and riding skills of our guides made up for a perfect vacation. This is our 2nd time with [the tour operator], and we look at them as being best in class.
The day starts with an early cold breakfast, as early as 6am, then a full, hot breakfast around 7am, followed by a morning ride/hike until lunch time. Ample snacks, bars, water is provided for the rides. Afternoon/evening rides follow, then a 3-course dinner made from scratch, and a good night of sleep under the stars.
We just LOVED the time we spend on this trip!
Great trip in every way: food, trails, logistics, campgrounds, Eric is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.
