Yorkshire Wolds

First time I have done a trip like this and thoroughly enjoyed the experience – definitely will not be the last. From initial enquiry to follow up customer service and support was excellent.

The final day Bridlington to Beverley was fantastic with long stretches of downhill and great weather. When my sister had an issue with her gears on her hire bike the response was very swift and sorted easily without inconveniencing us.

Our favourite day was at RSPB Bempton Cliffs, what a spectacle! We found it hard to leave the cliffs. We were advised by other cyclists to get there early and so we even saw the barn owl hunting! The Quintin Arms was a welcome stop right en route.

The rep we saw at the beginning was very efficient and gave us our phone mount map and we were off. No unnecessary delays. Whoever delivered our luggage please thank them, the cases were always there and in our rooms. We were impressed with the guidance map on the phone!

I had been on a self-guided C2C trip with [the tour operator] previously, so knew what to expect. That said, those expectations were very much met and everything ran very smoothly.

The booking and pre-departure processes were all very efficient. All 5 days were at the level of our expectations, or higher. I’m clearly a happy and satisfied customer and I know my wife is too!

From our very first contact with [the tour operator] we have been delighted with your excellent customer care and attention to detail. The service provided by [the tour operator] was perfect!! Every member of staff with whom we have dealt have been friendly, efficient and caring. The office staff Alison and Adam, have been delightful and could not have improved their service in any way. The pre holiday information was everything we could have wished for, and the daily cycle route information could not have been better. We also really appreciated the .gpx files which (almost unbelievably) took us from door to door.

    Our favourite day was the first day, travelling from Beverley to Pocklington, which was super. All the days were different and those “cheeky little climbs” were enervating. We enjoyed every day. We could not believe how efficient the luggage transfer service was, and we were astounded by the accommodation. We have loved this week in the Yorkshire Wolds and would like to thank you for a service which exceeded all our expectations when we first booked with you. Thank you Team [tour operator]. We now cannot wait for our next tour with you in September.

A fantastic trip through the stunning Yorkshire Wolds. The Wolds was such a great area for cycling with the route being almost entirely on quiet back roads through stunning scenery and lovely quaint villages. It is impossible to pick a favourite day as each day was different and great in their own way. This was our first time using the [tour operator] App and we were extremely impressed. The turn by turn route instructions and the operation of the App as a whole were flawless and made the whole trip even more enjoyable.

All the 5 guest houses/pubs/hotels were very different in style and character. It was a brilliant holiday – quite a personal challenge but enormous fun. Stunning scenery on quiet roads. A total holiday as it was complete concentration on the cycling and enjoying the scenery. All thoughts of everyday life were forgotten. Wonderful.

I was a bit worried about doing a holiday like this as it was a first for me but the information and help provided was amazing. The fact that I had an emergency contact number was reassuring and not having to sort out the route or night’s accommodation was a cherry on the top!

The penultimate day was great with the route taking us directly to some good sites.
