Combining the Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail with the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail makes this Queensland cycling tour unique. And the tour operator does all the heavy lifting for you, just turn up and be ready to ride and they will do the rest.
On top of all that, small group cycling tours are always fun. The guides are characters and fellow guests always get along, so we make sure you have a great time over and above the enjoyable cycling. The group size is kept small, with a maximum of 10 guests, so you are guaranteed personal service and real connections with your fellow travellers and support team.
This tour is graded as easy to medium. There are no major ascents or hills to climb and distances are moderate, averaging around 45kms (27.9mi) over the course of a full day. There is no hurry and the tour is run at a very relaxed pace, with lots of photo stops, drink stops, food stops and just resting stops! The only real challenge is the consecutive days of riding, which for non or semi-regular riders may create some "sensitivity" from sitting on a bike seat so we do recommend some riding before arriving. The rail trails are a mix of paved surfaces and dirt tracks, so you should be OK riding on surfaces other than roads or paths.
