There were 14 of us in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay for the weekend and this was definitely our highlight. They made it so easy for us, and were fine with us making a change to our finishing point when we got stuck at Elephant Hill enjoying the delicious wine and food.

Great experience with fantastic service

From the moment we contacted Takaro Trails to the time they dropped us back to our hotel at the end of the ride, the service from Chris at Takaro was first class.

We did the self guided Havelock to Cape Coast trip which is an easy 16 km along dedicated cycle paths and takes in up to 7 wineries.

Chris picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the start of the ride in Havelock. Clear concise route guidance and a map are provided so it is easy to follow the trails. Chris also organised and booked us into Elephant Wineries for a superb lunch. Chris collected us at the end of the ride and also gave us a potted history of the 200 km of cycle tracks around the Hawke's Bay area and of the Art Deco architecture of Napier town centre.

An all round great day out.

Wonderful, Wonderful Day

Thank you to Jenny, Craig and Sue for making our cycling trip so enjoyable. My husband and I had such a fabulous day on Saturday on the Havelock North and Cape Coast Wineries tour. From my phone booking to pick up from our hotel, drive to our first winery and pick up, nothing was too much trouble. All the gear was perfect and thank you for the recommendation for lunch at Clearview. We had such a fun trip and would def come back on our next trip to Napier. We also loved the cafe/cheese cafe on your tour. It was just a nice break from drinking wine during the day (haha). Thank you once again for your wonderful hospitality.
