Wilderness Camping
Get out into the Alaskan wilderness and enjoy an epic adventure
Experience the best of Alaska and the Yukon Territory with canoeing, biking and live music on a 9 day tour with the option to extend to 11 days including a music festival. Dawson City, once known as the “Paris of the North,” is your start and end point for a unique combination of a river trip and bike tour. You will take to your canoe on the historic Yukon River for a four day paddle from Dawson to the town of Eagle, Alaska. The current moves you along at a good clip, though there is no whitewater. Experience the beautiful solitude along the hundred-mile river journey as you camp on the shoreline and visit relics of the area’s gold rush past.
Note that there is no single supplement option. Most nights are camping and a single tent is available at no extra charge. Based on the small lodges that are used, a single room may not always be available.
