  • How many days is the tour?

    You have 10 days and 9 nights of fun on this tour. 8 of which will be spent on the bike.

  • Where does the tour start and finish? And is there a minimum age to join?

    The tour starts at a hotel in Bangkok with the closest airport being Suvarnnabhumi Airport (BKK). It finishes in Phuket and the closest airport is Phuket International Airport (HKT). The tour operator can assist in organising transfers or extending in Phuket.



  • Can you describe the tour?

    This tour is 100% on road, and the route was designed with road bikers in mind.


    It will start with a transfer out of Bangkok to avoid the dangers of riding through a very busy metropolis. The first half of the ride is on flat roads, mainly following the beach.

    The total distance is 850 km in eight riding days. Some of the distances are quite long, but the roads are smooth, making it an achievable distance on a road bike. The trip is fully supported, and your guide’s expert knowledge of the area and terrain means that you always know what is coming up in terms of distance and difficulty. This makes a tremendous difference, as does the constant supply of cold drinks, ice, and fresh fruit.

    Suitability: Fitness, of course, will be a huge asset on those long days and on the undulating hills. The tour is fully supported, and the bus is always close at hand for those that find the riding too difficult.

    Biking Conditions: The roads are 100% tarmac and in good condition. There are some hills, mostly rolling with the exception of the steep but short hills in Phuket.

  • How many riders will be in the group? And what is the minimum age to join?

    We can't say for certain how many will be joining. However to keep the tour personal the maximum number of participants is 16 and minimum is 2.

    Minimum age to join is 18 years old.

  • Are helmets included when hiring a bike?

    Yes, if you're hiring a bike from the operator, a complimentary helmet is provided, although you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.

I have just completed the Bangkok to Phuket road bike tour and would like to provide some feedback. Firstly, I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the efforts of the tour guides, Mr. Woody, Mr. Bottle, Mr. Rin, Mr. Wat, and Mr. Temple. They are a credit to the tour operator and one of the main reasons the trip was so enjoyable. Secondly, the food was absolutely fabulous. Not just the meals at the various restaurants but also the fruit and street food provided from the back of the tour bus. Finally, the route itself was just about as good as you could expect. Warm weather, (some) sunshine, and wherever we stopped the people were friendly. Thanks, and I hope to tour with you again in the future.

Despite all of the unexpected rain resulting in massive flooding in southern Thailand, the Bangkok to Phuket trip was awesome, being my first long-distance bike ride. Eclectic participants from six countries and an awesome guide 'Bottle' and support person. Am truly impressed with the planning involved. Will definitely being doing more trips in the future.
