Prague "All-in-One" Big City & Park Bike Tour
The best way to cover the whole city, see beautiful parks, and learn about history, architecture and Czech culture!
Internationally treasured, magical, and at times overwhelming, Prague is usually a traveller’s first stop when they come to Central Europe. The city is the vibrant centre of everything Czech, with its labyrinth of cobblestone streets, back alley beer dens, world class museums, and jaw-dropping architecture. Situated in the centre of Bohemia, Prague is the most common jumping-off spot for those exploring both the Czech Republic and greater Central Europe. The city is rife with cycling trails and routes that can take you anywhere you need to go in the city, just be warned, Prague is a busy bustling city so urban cycling is not for the faint of heart.
The city is as old as it is modern and you can trace its development through the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque eras by simply pedaling through its streets. Look for hip cafes and back alley breweries on your way from that new art opening. Prague is as beautiful and enchanting as it is complex and brash. Take a cycle tour of the historic castles, museums, points of interest, and beer halls to make the most out of your time in beloved Prague. When you’ve had your fill of Prague (is that even possible?) heading out into the Bohemian countryside is as easy as could be imagined; the network of cycling paths and trails are specifically designed to get you out and around the Czech countryside.
Day trips out of Prague are plentiful as the city is connected to the surrounding countryside by a network of bike paths and cycling routes. The cycling in Bohemia is generally mellow, with rolling hills and gentle river valleys populated by the types of European villages that we dream of. There are plenty of smaller towns and villages in the surrounding area that are worth the trip, especially when they almost always feature a classic Czech brewery. When it’s time to leave, the Greenways cycling trail will take you from Prague to Vienna where it heads through Southern Bohemia and into some of Central Europe's best cycling for both on and off road riders. If this is too difficult the cycle path to Dresden Germany is fairly flat and easily ridden by every skill level.
All roads lead to Rome? That might be true, but all bike paths lead to Prague.
